Welcome to Tiburon Temperate, where we transformed a home spectacular with views. Our client envisioned a seamless access to the view, prompting us to design a spacious deck at the same level as the back door. Navigating local regulations, we carefully planned to keep the deck within the allowable height and setbacks. To enhance privacy, we incorporated lush planting while maximizing seating to showcase the breathtaking views, ultimately adding significant value to the property when it was put on the market.

Located in the picturesque Tiburon hills, this project responds to the client’s desire for an outdoor environment that both highlights the stunning vista and feels like an extension of the home’s interior. To achieve this, the design team developed a spacious elevated deck that aligns with the residence’s back door — maximizing access without exceeding local height and setback regulations.

Understanding the importance of privacy in hillside residential settings, the landscape blends lush strategic plantings with ample seating areas, creating intimate yet open spaces that welcome quiet enjoyment and social gatherings.
