Skyfarm Retreat

The challenging aspect of this project was a steep site and owner's need to keep the entire home at one elevation. They wanted the views, and being an elderly couple they wanted to keep the home sans steps. The landscape consisted of replacing three Oak trees, providing adequate screening and making sure the entry was beautiful. We added Plumbago, English Laurel and succulents to give it a low maintenance appeal. Irrigation for the trees, shrubs and groundcover was approved by the Town of Hillsborough. In the end, the architect hired a drone photographer and as you can see, the view towards the hills looks amazing!
